In Western industries like the US, UK, or Australia, there is often a clear roadmap. Actors have a systematic process for getting professional headshots, building a resume, finding an agent, and moving from day-player roles to series regulars.

In India, the industry is incredibly vibrant, but it can also feel unstructured. For over a decade, I've watched deeply talented actors feel lost, simply because it is so hard to know where to begin. You spend years perfecting your craft, but often find yourself unsure of how to convert that talent into action, who to reach out to, or how to navigate the business side of being an artist.

I am not an accidental casting director. I chose casting because I love the process, and I have always thought of actors as my allies, whose growth actually in turn polishes and makes my work easier as well.

Starting from the ground up—working as an AD, a styling assistant, and a talent manager before establishing myself in casting—I've had the privilege of seeing the industry from almost every perspective. Over the last 10 years, I've reviewed close to 1,00,000 auditions.

Through my extensive work in casting and mindset coaching, I've learned one absolute truth: Talent is the bedrock, but a resilient mindset is what builds a long-lasting career.
